Best fitting Bridge Pup for a Neck Pearly Gates ??

Hi everyone;

I bought a Pearly Gates neck to combine my Duncan Custom.. But unfortunately Duncan Custom is very old and out of power and gain.. I am now looking for a bridge pickup to combine my Gates neck.. on my Gibson explorer 1976 reissue..

Sh-4, Sh-5 or pearly Gates bridge.. i am thinking one of those three... Any ideas? (can be other pickups also... just tell

guitar is 15 years old with mahagony set neck and body, rosewood fingerboard. neck pickup sounds great, but when i switch to bridge that volume difference and gain difference with my poor old SH-5 disturbs me...

PG bridge. I use the PG set in my main play LP and it kills.

SH-5 matches it perfectly!

Are you sure there is a problem with your current Custom? It could be a wiring or a switch issue??? It could be the pickup also? Unlikely but, it is possible.
