Best humbucker for split coil sound?

I'm looking to upgrade a Schecter CSH1 semihollow. I need a good single coil sound as well as fat humbucker tones. Any opinions on which humbuckers give the funkiest single coil tone?
I am also considering adding a real single coil, maybe an SSL, in the middle, but I'm concerned that switching pickup combinations will be overly complicated. Also, this would entail cutting a hole in the guitar, actually two holes, I guess, since I would need to add a switch of some kind to select the added single coil pickup.

The Stag Mag is an obvious answer, (I have one), but my personal favorite is the Distortion neck. Meaty and hot as a humbucker, but splits to a great "warm" single tone. I love it.

Edit: The Distortion will not do "jangly" split, but its still a great tone if thats what you're looking for.

I have the PGn and Duncan Custom in my dual HB Strat and love the split sounds. First guitar I've owned that had satisfying "single coil" sounds as well as the fat regular humbucker sounds. The JB splits nicely too. Lew

I'd say "good" single coil sound would be a dual Stag Mag set. However, I know from experience that the Jazz and JB also sound great together split.

As for switching, you could just make it a 5 way switch, but the volume(s) / tone(s) the push-pull switches for splitting the humbuckers.

Tom Anderson pickups are notorious for great split tones.

+1! The H1 runs a light 6.3K, and the magnet runs between the coils, not underneath like conventional humbuckers.
