Hi
I have problem with designion of right bridge pickup.
Please help if you can.

I have Jackson Warrior WRXT in basewood body and Duncan Design HB108 humbuckers. This is Korean copy Saymour Duncan.Distorzion.

He is look like Invader because he have big hex srews pole pieces.

But his Sound is too bassy and I want more sharper and harsh higher sound. Play 80 hairy metal.
Please what pick up you recommend.
SD Distorzion B Winter Alternative 8
Dimarzio Evo Super2 Dactivator Paf Pro
EVH wolfang Humbucer
Which is best opnion.
What is best magnet for basewood alnico or ceramic.
I play with Yamaha THR10x and some pedals BossSd1 and TS9.
What you think

Kind regards

I would suggest the SH-13 Dimebucker. The Dimebucker is also fairly bright and a great metal pickup. You will not lose your bottom and chug within the brightness.

I would normally recommend a JB, but if a guitar sounds naturally dark, you'd wanna stay away from that.

The DiMarzio Super Distortion is a good 80s pick. It's thick-sounding, but also extremely bright as well.

I am big on ceramics in basswood. In some guitars I do like alnico-based pickups just fine, but in basswood I find the crisper attack of ceramics to help with overall (top and bottom) definition.
Dimebucker can really work great in basswood.

Does anyone know exactly which hex pole pieces screws would be good to replace on the Detonator hex pole . Thank you kind regards
