best pickups for swamp ash

i have a ROBIN medley (swamp ash body W/maple fretboard) hum(neck) and hum(bridge) with a floyd rose i need it to have "singing sustain and screamin harmonics" for old school hard rock! scorpions/thin lizzy/whitesnake/dokken kinda stuff ! the tone wizard says 59/custom,customTB or 59/jbTB any suggestions folks

My experience with swamp ash is that it tends to be lighter than a wood like alder, and that it is not as bright sounding as alder.

So I'd sort of agree with the Tone Wizard.

I'd stay away from alnico 2 humbuckers (which might be warmer and less aggressive than you seem to want) and go with alnico 5 or ceramic magnet humbuckers:

Jazz or 59N neck and Custom, Custom 5 or JB bridge.

Of those the Custom is ceramic and the rest are alnico 5.

ive got a JB in my swamp ash strat and i love it. It will give you plenty of sustain and the harmonics you want. It has a lot of midrange, so it should sound pretty sweet with what you play.

i thought JB because swamp ash is scooped in the mids i would think a C5 would be too scooped in swamp ash a custom might work i'm going 59 in the neck i just have not tried a JB with a maple neck
