Best Seymour pups for downtuned guitars for metal

I will be replacing my stock pups in my down-tuned LP style guitar. Looking for most suitable pickups for my 6 string lp style guitar having mahogany body, neck and rosewood fretboard. The tunings I am mostly using are standard d, drop c, standard c and standard b and I mostly play progressive metal. Any good suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My favorite for dropped is the blackouts Mick Thompson model. They sing sweet harmonies while staying tight af.

Distortion set will do.
I've heard good things about the Black Winters, but no personal experience.

I'm a huge fan of the Invader for D and drop C metal. 59 in the neck. Also wrenched some good tones out of a Custom Custom in a Les Paul traditional in a sludgey drop C metal band. Alnico 2 pro in the neck of that one. I know prog metal requires a bit more cut, but I would still urge anyone who plays drop C to check out the invader, it's an awesome pickup.

Another vote for the Distortions, based on my experience.

Distortion set, Black Winter set, Pegasus + Sentient, Nazgul + Sentient...can't go wrong with most of those

80s_Metal's recommendation of the Mick Thompson EMTY Blackouts is also a good one if you want to go with Actives. They are punchy and crisp at all tunings in my experience.

And also Omega, Dimebucker, and Alt8.

IME in LP type guitar, Black Winters are a passive set that sound like actives. Very flat even and clean. Not as much character as other passive pickups. They’re the only set where I had to notably change my amp settings to get any particular character out of them.

I use Black Winters in my down-tuned guitars (C and lower) and think they work very very well. My guitars also have a mahogany body/neck with rosewood fretboards. The Black Winters really help with clarity when doing larger chord shapes and they still keep that low-end thump when doing palm mutes.

I'm looking at getting a Nazgul/Sentient set to install in one of my low-tuned guitars in the near future. That's another combo you can look into as well.
