What about the Boss DM-2W? It’s my front-row, stupid-simple, “stomp here to make solo epic” delay pedal.

For the fancy song-specific rhythmic stuff, I program patches in my HX One.

i love the boss dm-2, im sure the waza is great too. the retrosonic analog delay is based on the dm2 and is so damn sweet

I just use the DL4 mkII...you have 6 presets readily available.

I think many companies, other than the big ones, don't concentrate on 'simple' pedals much these days. It is all about some crazy take on an old effect that does really weird stuff (which I am all for), but you tend to see less and less 'simple' pedals outside of distortion and fuzz.
