FWIW my NS-2 (top right) is like that and I found a way to run 90-degree plugs in the space between the bars of my pedal board. Even if I didn't have that, I might just run the 90 plugs 2 up and 2 down and keep the pedal off the bottom row (since I don't often turn a noise gate on/off while playing.)

Yeah you are right, and looking through my extra jumpers/cables I do have the stuff to make it work fine. I have my NS-2 on the top right also, with three 90s and the only straight being from the amp's send to the pedal's return, that way I have nothing coming downward on the right side, which is fine with your's since the board has the slots.
On the TC the plugs are not only close, but they're also not offset vertically like on the Boss and ISPs. With your slotted board it looks like it would not be a problem though, judging from the Alter Ego.
