Hi, I have a Madison 4x10 bass cab that I'm trying to ship. It's basically a birch ply oversized bass cab (similar to Hartke ported cabs) with a a metal grill. I'm having trouble trying to find a box big enough to fit the cab in, so I'm probably going to splice two boxes together. Question is, what do I do for the padding. I'm very worried about the metal gril portion of the cab. I'm worried that the grill may get bent due to pressure of UPS stacking boxes on top of the grill side of the cab. I can't use styrofoam popcorn cause it will go through the grill holes and would be hell to take out. Any suggestions on how to pack the cab, or do I just shove it in a box and send it?
