Of those two, I'de say The epi is deffinately better built, and sounds better (to my ears). Those LTD Trucksters, and they're EC-1000's Have Really thin Bodys, Which adds to they're Thin tone.
That said, Everyone I know thats Got an LTD guitar Loves em. And everyone I know thats got an Epi LP Loves it. So who knows? Go to a guitar shoppe that carrys both and Try em out, decide which is "better" for yourself. Whats better in mine (or anyone elses) opinion, Might not be "better" to you.
