the same guy i bought my bandmaster from is selling amps again. He has:
68 silverface bassman
68 silverface showman
69 silverface bandmaster
61 blonde bassman
66 blackface bassman w/ cabs
The silverfaces will ballpark from 250-400 (bandmaster, bassman and showman the priciest). My friend is looking to buy within this price range. Which silverface should he buy if we play mostly clean blues and jazz?
He is also going to build himself a cab. What config would suit a showman the best, something light and loud? What's a good 12 inch speaker that has loads of headroom and would sound good with a fender amp for less than 100 bucks? I was thinking a 12 inch weber michigan ceramic, but any other ideas out there?
1x15, 1x12, or 2x10? Total budget cant pass 500.
