your pickups sound real juicy. what kind of amp were you using to squeeze that tone out of those pickups?

It sounds like the "blue murder" backing track that went around H-C a couple years ago.

Whats the rig? Obviously its some kind of supa-strat, but...

To answer some questions:

I 've had this backing for a coupleof years now and I think I downloaded it from HC, but I can't remember for sure.

I used my custom made "JST" Jacaranda Strat and a Boss GT8 Guitar Processor set to a Vintage Marshall Plexi simulation to which I added an Ibanez Tubescreamer simulation. The wah was the GT8 "Fat Wah" simulation.

Reverb and delay were added afterwards with my recording-editing software.

That's all thats to it. :fing2:

man that gt8 can really saturate you tone! i read reviews that the distorion is weak on it, but it's obviously pretty damned good.

It can get a lot more distorted than that...I had the amp distortion very low and the TS was only on 2/3 drive.

When you get to the recto or metal simulations, things can get pretty heavy.;)
