Big vs small backplate logo pickup

Hi, is there a difference in quality between the big logo w/ winder initial sticker vs the small logo MIA w/ winder initial sticker on baseplate puckups? From my understanding, the former is from the eighties, and the latter is from late eighties to around 2000.

Welcome to the forum!

Being on this forum a lot, we never really hear of quality differences between eras of pickups. There might be changes in how things are streamlined on the production floor, or some older pickups might use a roughcast mag vs smooth, but none of these changes results in the quality of the pickup itself going up or down.

Thanks, been in and out of this forum for some time. You know if there were any changes in materials used between these two era's?
