Biyang Baby Boom

Its interesting how all these small efx companies are popping up...

Modtone
Biyang
GFS

The reason I am posting is I wanted to see if any of you own said pedals and your opinion. I am really looking at the Biyang Reverb and Compressor and have already purchased the GFS tuner!

Re: Biyang Baby Boom

I'm not sure about Modtone but GFS pedals are made by Biyang, just relabelled.

Re: Biyang Baby Boom

dyang that reverb looks like it's got a lot of features. lot of biyang for your byuck!

Re: Biyang Baby Boom

They are the cheapest pedals you can get over here. Cheaper than the Behringer stuff. Although that doesn't say much, for something like a compressor I wouldn't skimp...or for the reverb if you're a sound junkie. IMO better to invest a little more in something like a CMATMODS comp and the Holy Grail. Their overdrives/distortions aren't too shabby from what I've heard and read.

Re: Biyang Baby Boom

I have the GFS Greenie OD... it was cheap and it's versatile. Sounds good for what I want. Not earth-shattering by any means but since I just use it for some extra oomph in solos, it does the trick.

Re: Biyang Baby Boom

Heavily based on existing stuff but the pedal with three different fuzz tones seemed cool (assumings its fullly analog) and their analog dly

Re: Biyang Baby Boom

I have a ModTone Vintage Wah. I needed a spare, and it was inexpensive enough, so, I figured I'd give it a try. It's not as fat sounding, as I would like, but, it's a pretty good sounding pedal.

If you want a good wah, that won't break the bank, I'd highly recommend it.

Re: Biyang Baby Boom

I will not be seen with anything that say "Biyang" on it on principle. It is not about the sound either.
