Well, I had to try them... I am no fan of Chinese policies, slave labor etc...
But I suppose every tone seeker has his price, and mine was about 50 bucks apiece.
Especially when all other options run several hundreds of $$$$ for both, no matter what you buy.
Everything about these pedals was quite impressive... aside from one thing that I could not ignore.
A very large volume drop... nearly 6 db I'm guessing!
This was upsetting because the Build QT, Appearance (photos online don't do justice) and Effect were really good... (for the money)
The Tremolo was every bit as good as the Boss... aside from the volume drop.
The Verb did a better Hall than the EH, not sure about the Spring... But, again... the volume drop.
If there had not been this volume discrepancy... I would have gladly kept them on my board.
The only thing I see to do is hold out for the Strymon Flint... For the money I see nothing better. (I think they use the same box!)
