Black Les Paul with Creme Pickups, what do you think of this look?

I have a pair of Dimarzio double creme air classics that I might throw in my Edwards John Sykes model. What do you think of this look, ugly or cool? If I don't go with these, I'll probably get a Custom/'59 set.

That's the way a black LP should look.

It’s solid, classy and classic, but I prefer black pickups with cream rings...better contrast.

You took the picture right out of my mouth.

All of my guitars are black and all of the have or have had cream pickups so my answer is obvious.
I also like double creams in a black guitar with black bezels. It's just different enough to be catchy.

Looks good.
It's hard to have a bad l.p in my opinion.

Too much cream, IMO. Double creams, with black everything else, is a nice look. Or if you go with all that cream plastic, double black pickups would look nice (look at Frampton's famous Lester).
