I've decided that this is what I'm going to play in my upcoming recital in three weeks. It's a chord melody of Black Orpheus that transitions into Triste and at the end I'll hopefully play a solo over Triste while my teacher comps for me. I did post Triste not too long ago but this is closer to the finished product.
The recording is a bit sloppy, mainly because as soon as I hit the record button I get nervous and forget what I'm doing. Even so, I'm nowhere close to some of the jazz guys here but I'm still learning. I think it at least shows the kind of ideas I was going for, mistakes aside. Hopefully when I go to college I'll start to be as burning as some of the folks here. :wave:
