Ok, I'll have some fun with this!
What are some features? What did it LOOK LIKE in your dream? 2 channels with a clean and distorted setting or TS style? 2-3 band eq or a sole tone knob? Any switches to shift the tone to some automatic settings, like maybe a "GRIME" button to change the distorted channel? Would it have the graphics seen on the BW pickup box with the soldiers silhouetted?
haha yes it did look like the box they come in...although it was mostly black and grey and spooky trees...im pretty sure it had just volume, gain and 3 band eq, but I would love to see a built in noise gate too.
Thats not over $300heard some great things about these. I like to tweak out on knobs too, but there is also something so great about a pedal with only a few knobs that just sounds good all the time...plug and play!

Bring back the Twin Tube Mayhem...?
Or at east the spirit of the TTM with the Dirty 805?
did you ever try the Twin Tube Mayhem? was always curious about it. I definitely think SD needs a high gain pedal again, they have the markets attention with the Black winters and Nazguls and blackouts and whatnot...its time there was a pedal to match!
I've been running a GFS Twin Boost in front of mine. It really tightens up that flubbyness and makes the pedal quite a bit more versatile. It sounds good in front of a solid state and fantastic into a tube amp.I did, twice. There's one good sound in it, and you really have to tweak to find it. It goes from flubby to fizzy quickly. For over the top metal solid state has proved its mettle.
