Hey all,
I stupidly sold a set of Duncan LiveWire Hot for Strat pickups a few years ago and have been having a hankering for them again, found an NOS set on Reverb for what works out to over $400 in local money for me, plus shipping and probably local and import taxes, since I would likely have them shipped to Washington State, and then bring them across the border to Canada.
So given price alone, the Blackouts for Strat are a bit more realistic/attractive.
Does anyone here have experience with both that could give me a sort of comparison between the two? I have a set of LiveWire Classic II for Strat that I like a lot, and have extensive experience with the SA model from EMG, so active Strat pickups are not foreign to me at all.
