Blackstar HT Venue MKII series out!!

I just realized these new puppies are out.

I find them really interesting, and I wonder what kind of improvements should we expect when compared to MKI models.

I hope to find lots of demos/reviews soon. What do you people think? Any love for Blackstar amps?

They've added a tone stack to the "clean" channel and changed its overall appearance.

Just like the MKI, it only has 2 preamp tubes and utilizes a solid state phase inverter instead of a 3rd preamp tube. Its heavy dependence on diodes for gain appears unchanged as well. Therefore, I'd imagine the MKII is every bit as vaguely solid state sounding as the MKI.
