Who's played them, what were the differences between. Compare and contrast. I feel like I should know myself but meh...:smack:

APH is smooth when distorted and has a nice midgrange hump when playing clean. It's not boomy or shrill, but you can still cut through when needed. It balances very nicely with the CC that's paired with it in my Carvin DC127T.

The PG is a very nice PAF style pickup with a somewhat harder edge to the high mids than say, the 59 or the Seth Lover model. Not as boomy as the 59, but has a touch more bottom than the APHn. I love it in the neck of my Les Paul. It's a more aggressive, edgier pickup than the APH, I assume this is because of the unbalaced coil design that makes the PG different from the rest of Duncan's PAF class pickups.

I really like them both, but I spend more time playing he PG set than the CC/APHn set.
