Well...sorry, but that's not the way I do it! :smack:
The way I do it, I take the pot apart and put a drop of Super Glue over the resistive strip at the point the wiper would contact it when turned to "10". That way, when the pot is on "10" it will be disconnected from the circuit.
I do not solder a wire on that terminal...I leave it empty or cut it off.
I then solder a 6" length of wire on each of the two remaining terminals and connect the end of one to the point on the 5 way switch where the neck pickup is soldered and the other to the point on the switch where the bridge pickup is soldered.
When the blender pot is turned down and the switch is set for the neck pickup only you'll add in the bridge pickup.
When the blender pot is turned down and the switch is set for the bridge pickup you'll add in the neck pickup.
