a blocked floyd is a good thing if you also do alot of rhythm work and palm muting and you sometimes rest your hand on the bridge b/c if you do that with a floyd it goes sharp. thus why i only have one floyd guitar lol...but i do want another eventually, not that i have a real need for it.

Yep thats what took me a while to learn with my jackson. Theres a certain center spot you can rest your hand where it doesn't move either way. But you have to be careful cause moving a little forward or backwards changes the tone.
