That video was quite something to watch! Those adjustable frets can really change the sound of the guitar, especially for different scales, etc. Can you imagine this catching onto electric guitars? Especially on 7-stringed ones. The guitar in the video sounded really good acoustically. Maybe the fret board design adds to the resonance of the instrument.;)

Microtonal is relevant.

Here is a good overview of 19 tone equal temperament which is the next temperament up from 12 that can approximate triadic harmony well.
