Man..I actually had the opposite problem. Too much jamming with other musicians & not enough time alone/with the metronome.
The problems that arise from that are...
I never got into the home recording thing. ..can't use a computer to record for nuts. Don't have the wherewithall or the eqipment for it..so that aspect was totally neglected which I regret.
Could'nt (and still find myself a bit sloppy) playing along with a click/metronome..
Unless you have access to a whole lot of super versatile/varied musicians (which I don't) it's kind of restrictive playing just with a band.
I could'nt (still can't) play sitting down..lol
..guess there's two sides to everything :lmao:
