Blueberry Burst LPs. Wow..

Ive traditionally always favored Black guitars.. But, after seeing some vids a couple of years ago if Marq Torien (sp?) of the Bullet Boys playing blue Lps, Ive had a thing for dark blue (Chicago blue) Lps.. I had a gorgeous Gibson "2008" model for awhile, but sadly, it was beautiful, but it was a steaming bag of turds as far as the guitar itself, so I rolled it.. And, oddly enough, Ive never been much of a fan of burst colors, but the new Blueberry Burst Gibson has out is IMO, freaking gorgeous! And, looks better in person.. Played a 2017 LP StandardT at GC yest. And, not only is the color gorgeous, but that particular guitar was pretty amazing too!! REALLY REALLY like it!!!!

Anyone else like the blueberry burst?

Pretty but not my thing, which is fine because if Marq Torien plays it, I don't want it. In fact, if I did want one and you mentioned Torien playing one, you would have ruined it for me. ;)

I tried one of those recently. It looks way better in person than in pictures. It's truly a stunningly beautiful finish.
The guitar was amazing as well.

Yeah - we have one in a local shop that is awesomeness. The enhanced photo does it IN-justice....

Curious to see how it looks in person, that's not quite my favorite but usually I love blue...

I fell in love and wanted one when I saw it on Gibsons web site, but have not been impressed by the ones I've seen in person or on web sites that show actual stock photos.. the enhanced staining Gibsons doing to mimic PRS gives the wood no depth at all and looks splotchy- most of the 2017's I've seen, which includes the bourbon burst

Love it but I would prefer the Honeyburst. If I could have both? Bring it on.

I like it more than the boring old traditional colors. I'd love a 335 in that color.
