Blues!

Hello. I wanna start playing some dirty-blues (Muddy-Waters-and-Neil-Young-meets-Nirvana stuff), but I don´t know wich guitar/pickups i should use.
I have two options:

1) Buy a telecaster and put some new pickups on it. Wich Seymour pickup is the best choice?

2) Put some new Seymour pickups on my MIJ Strato.

So, what should i do??

Both, get some Ant II Surfers for the strat and some Jerry Donahue's for the Tele. Then a great old tube amp, and the chops.

and what about putting some humbuckin´action on the Strato? Wich pickups should I use???

get some SSL-1's for the neck and mid and a hotrails neck for the bridge.
