Ok, now that i have my humbucker issue settled, which pup?( for Tele bridge ) I want to get away from ice picky microphonic pup, to one that twangs a little and let's my amp and fingers do all of the work. I play mostly blues, southern rock, and a little old school country.I don't need a lot of distortion, only a medium amount of overdrive. I like a rich and sweet sound that responds well to touch. Clear, and not muddy, maybe a little snarl if I dig in. Which one, the AlnicoII pro or the Five Two.

This is sort of a bump, but someone must have some opinions or have used one or both of these pups!:)

I must have missed the thread about your neck pickup, but IMHO the Jerry Donahue bridge pickup is the best sounding bridge pickup in a Tele I have experience with. I have one in a Butterscotch Tele that is paired with a Vintage 54 guitar sounds great. I also have one that I had made to those specs in another Tele that is paired with a Firebird minihum. Both are great sounding guitars....
