Bluesbreakers 'Hideaway'

I'm sure this sounds somewhat cliched but can someone point me to where on earth I can find an *accurate* transcription of the porton of Hideaway as recorded on the Beano album from 1:22 to about 1:35? Yes I'll admit it, I'm having a hard time getting it to sound right. I know there's a bunch of clips on youtube but many of them are either over distorted or don't sound right there either. Anyone?

I don't even have to look...I know you're talking about the little double stop section! I donlt know about tabs, I don't use them but that is a killer set of licks...I've never been happy with the way I play it! Best of luck!

Re: Bluesbreakers 'Hideaway'

PM me your email address, and I'll send you an accurate transcription of the entire tune, double stops and all. Like so many others, I cut my teeth on that tune.

I've been trying to get the double stops for 40 years!

Clapton played those so well!

i'd say he's still as good, but thats just me. I've never payed much attention to those double stops before, but they do sound really tough.

Here's SRV:

Here's Clapton performing it with JMBB recently:

Here's Freddie King:

All three of these guys play that double stop section just about the same way, except Freddie's version is faster. Listening to these three versions live may help.
