Hey guys. I have access to a cheap bone nut, and I"m wondering what the advantages are of bone over plastic. What do bone nuts sound like? How do they affect string life? How would they sound/function in an SG? THanks.

Oh, Kingston! You're close. I'm down by Niagara Falls, but have a bunch of friends going to school up in Kingston. rockin'. Anyway, thanks for the advice. I love guitars with lots of life and resonance to them, so I'm gonna go with the bone nut.
