Book of Many Things. Ideas Wanted!

When I was in a guitar playing slump (we've all been there) I read an article from John Petrucci saying about filing your practice exercises. That way you can pick something to practice everyday, and the mixture will keep you stimulated. So I decided to fill a book with exercises. Here is what it contains:

1. Technique exercises - 1 line of tab to improve a technique. This covers alternate picking, sweep picking, fingerstyle, legato, tapping etc.
2. The 'Behemoth' challenges - After each section (or few sections if they're related) i write 5 lines of tab that go over the techniques previously. No time signatures or note lengths described. This way you play it slightly different everytime, so there are many possibilities from one challenge.
3. The scales - Up to fret 12, I have shown what frets are used on each string for the major scale in every key. I plan to add minor scales, different modes etc. later.

So here's my question:

Can you think of any interesting exercises for the following techniques: sweep picking, fingerstyle, tapping? Any behemoths would also be welcome as well as exercises for any techniques you can think of that havent been mentioned yet.

Look for Michael Fath's book on 2 handed tapping. It has plenty of challenging exercises!
One is called Hard Rock Tapping Exercises and another is called Hard Rock Arpeggio Exercises.

Thanks for the recommendations, but I was looking for exercises to put in a book, not looking for a book with exercises in. Sorry if that sounds a bit rude, but i couldn't think of any other way to put it without beating around the bush.

No worries. But that is my point. They are not mutually exclusive. Get the books and take what you want.

In my opinion, technique is a means to an end, not an end in itself.

True, but when i practice i tend to spend time refining my technique, and going over bits where i feel im getting a bit lax, as well as spending time practicing songs or generally jamming. This book of mine is my way of helping me improve, so that i can play songs more accurately, and learn them faster as well. It's a tool to make my life easier. I share your opinion, so if you like I'm making technique a means to many ends.

Oh, and TwilightOdyssey, I completely understand your reasoning now. Thanks for the help.
