boost that strat !

Hi !

I need good advice !
I've got a fender strat with :
bridge : SD mini humbucker jb jr (agressive and lead ! )
middle : SD hot stack
neck : SD hot stack
tones : 250K
volume : 500K reduced to +/-400K + split function (push-pull) for the bridge jb jr

I'm happy with the jb jr (sounds very good and perfect when splitted for clean)
I find the hot stacks not so good with distortion (not so punchy, muddy with chords). Clean is a bit thin compared to clean jb jr.
I'd like to put something more aggressive in neck and maybe in middle.
What do you recommend ? Little 59 ? Cool Rails ?
What tones pot to use with mini-humbucker ? 500K ?
What schematic to use to use the split function of the volume pot to split N+M+B mini humbuckers (simple schematic)

Thanks in advance to all the technicians !!!

Guil.

Re: boost that strat !

Here's the set that Duncan put together. It's your best best.

"Available for both bridge and neck/middle positions; and in an incredibly versatile set with a SJBJ-1b JB Jr. in the bridge, a SDBR-1n Duckbucker in the middle and a SL59-1n Little ‘59 in the neck."

Re: boost that strat !

I would say that you might want to get a Seymour vintage rails for the middle and a cool rails for the neck because it will give you a perfect balance of articulate tone that wont get muddy or over-distort in any position of your switch. The vintage rails will also add a cool almost P-90 single coil tone in the middle;)
