Hmmm. Time to reinstall ACID I think. Not sure I haven't got FL somewhere too, or maybe I'll just fire up Maschine...

FL is pretty easy and straight foreward, the UI is pretty friendly. Never used Acid before, well not the software anyways.

I'm looking really hard at FL Studio. Will it work on an older dual core you think? As long as I cut down on the virtual instruments...

It should. My recording PC is an early XPS all in one, and it works like a champ. I think FL will run on damn near anything.
