BOR, OCD v2, 18w and Twangbanger test....

My wife's still out so I figured that I would record a clip of the Box of Rock. But also figured that I'd also a/b with the OCD and the Normal channel(Vol/Tone) on my 18w.

Gear:

Ironsounds 18w TMB that I built(JJ tubes all around)
Avatar Vintage 1x12(Hellatone 30)
CP60's Strat(Twangbanger/69/69)
OCD
Box of Rock

**Clips starts with BOR(Vol-10, Tone-2, Drive-Max)
**Then OCD(Vol-11, Tone-2, Drive-Max, LP)
First two recorded with TMB Channel(T-3, M-11, B-1, Vol1-11, Vol2-11)
**BOR again then OCD...
**Clean-No pedals
**Finally the 18w, Normal Channel(Vol-Maxed, Tone-2)

This was all Twangbanger with the tone rolled off very slightly, I LOVE this pickup. Sorry about the super sloppy noodling!

Man, I just notice how much the track compressed when mixed down then uploaded. The originals are much less bassy and you can hear the string definition much better.

You're thinking about it the wrong way, 28+ people dug it enough to not press 8 keys on their keyboard. Not exactly a lot of work to press 8 keys, so I think that says something good about your playing.

Great setup of gear there.....Think I prefer the BOR over the OCD

Great sounds Ryan. As a guitarist, I have the right to fall in and out of love with any and all guitar related equipment, but I still absolutely adore my Twangbanger!!

Perhaps you could use http://www.speedyshare.com/ and it won't be that much compressed? I'm interested how big the difference is.
