Boss dd7 settings?

Im using a Boss dd7 delay. Im trying to dial in a good tone for a thick lead sound. can someone recommend some good settings?? I keep getting from, not enough to a metallic sound I dont think is natural. cant quite get where I think it should be..thanks

Metallic sound...sounds like you're using very short delay times. Try the 800ms mode. Then put the level, feedback and delay time knobs to about 10 o'clock. That will give you about 300ms of delay with a few repeats and should work pretty well with pretty much any tempo. Longer delay times are really cool but it then becomes important for the repeats to sync with the tempo of the song.
