ok i have played on both these delay pedals, and both are awsome, for round abouts the same price.... i am getting one soon, but which one?

i love them both there arent any pros and cons to weigh up.

atm DL8 is winning, but tomorow it might be the dd7.

im one confused individual.

I would take the DD-7.

I've played on it personally and I can tell you it is absolutely amazing for the price. What would you be using it for though? Just basic delays on leads, or something different?

Re: Boss DD7 vs Hardwire DL8

I just bought the DD7. Beautiful pedal. Rugged and made to last. Boss equals quality. And it's handsome too.

Re: Boss DD7 vs Hardwire DL8

yeah they are virtually the same.... simple delays + what ever i can do, kinda experimental ewhen i feel like it. and everyone says dd7, which makes me want a hardwire

Re: Boss DD7 vs Hardwire DL8

I am probably going to get a DD7 myself soon. Tried and loved it. Briefly considered the hardwire but i have owned a few boss pedals over time and never had one break, plus never heard a bad story from friends who are gigging more than me atm.

Re: Boss DD7 vs Hardwire DL8

I have a Boss and a DigiTech, but different models. If you are able to test out both, try out some wacky settings, and see which one handles the limits better. For the common uses, both are about equal, but see which one handles extremes better - for example, super short delay with super long repeats, or even reverse and modulation delays with extreme settings.
