Is anyone here taking the plunge and going for the BOSS GT-100 board?
I got lucky yesterday and sold two amps plus one guitar, so have already ordered the GT-100 and may grab a Blackstar HT5R stack too, dunno yet. I have the GT-10 and have been pretty happy with it but it's not often that my bank account jives with a major release of a new piece of gear. I figure if I don't like the GT-100 I'll send it back within the 45 days and keep the GT-10. If the 100 has gotten rid of the CW (which never really bugged me all that much) and if the new amp models are all they claim to be I guess I'll sell the GT-10 once prices stabilize.
For those of you that don't follow such things, the prices on used GT-10's are about to bottom out with the release of the GT-100 on (supposedly) March 15th...so sayeth American Musical. ZZounds says they'll have theirs sometime in April. Anyhow, people will be dumping their GT-10's and in a few weeks prices will never be lower. They are built like tanks, sound and work great in my opinion but do have a pretty steep learning curve. Sharpen up your dickering skills and pay rock bottom cuz that's where prices are headed in the short term! -Rod-
