Boss HR-2 Harmonist...anyone?

Anyone ever try the Boss HR-2 harmonist pedal by chance? i think it's out of production now though. i'm looking for a pedal to use for some simple harmony parts when my other guitarist is playing rhythm and for some reason he keeps saying he can't do both at once...i dunno what's wrong with him lol.

anyway, any info on it or on other good pedals that will do a realistic harmony?

there is a newer boss pedal that doesnt the same thing just more of it, i think its the pitch shifter

I had one, it was OK for very basic fixed harmony parts but the sound quality isn't great - it tends to warble quite quickly.

its the super shifter.

it may be to many effects and do them as well for what for your looking for in the HR-2. I never used it so i can't give imput of the HR-2. good luck.

thanks guys, i think i'll try and find a ps-5 to try and if it's not what i wanted see if i can find the hr-2 somewhere used.

And the VB-2 Vibrato, although not as rare I still managed to sell it for £200

ahhh yea! i reckon more OD-1s turn up than VB-2s man, thats why i forgot about them hehe

not to mention the SG-1, DM-2, SP-1, DF-2 and TW-1... >.<
