That’s nice graphic comparison. The OD-1 has a nice and even upper frequency cut as that downslope shows. Nice mids. The ugly lows are cut too.

One complaint I've heard on the OD-1 is that it lacks a bit in the output. I wonder if there's a mod to boost it.(?)

Plenty of output with a somewhat cooking Marshall. If someone needs more gain than that to play, then they need to practice.

Yeah I hear ya, I've never had the OD-1 myself to form an opinion.
I'm thrilled with my 40th-A SD-1. It really enhances without changing the tone to the degree of my 808-based tubescreamers.
