Boss od 20 pedal.....opinions

Has anyone tried or owns on of these pedals and what are your impressions? Is it a good credible and versatile od/dist unit???

I read (some 3 months ago) that the Digitech Distortion Factory (DF-7 i think they call it ?) is a much better bang for your buck.

(sorry, never tried any emulation dirt-boxes before )

But do look into the Digitech too - much cheaper than the Boss !
