Boss OD mods ...?

I have two Boss overdrive petals (SD-1, OD-2) that I don't like that much. I already have a nice selection of others that I like just fine, so I am thinking maybe there would be some mods that I could make to these that might add dimension to my existing fleet. Any mods would be just for fun, and to improve the interest of these units. Any suggestions ?

SD97 does mods for forum members for a small surcharge. I don't know if it'll make you like the Boss stuff more with the mods, or not, though.
