Boss Wazacraft Blues Driver BD-2W

So I wanted to add a OD type pedal to my setup and after a lot of good advise from people in here, I stumbled onto the Boss Wazacraft Blues Drive. Man this pedal sounds like an amp. I know it's analog but it has a very tube break up tone to it. This is what I was looking to add to my pedal board.
Here's another kicker with it, it made my tc electronics Dark matter sound better. How? the Buffer circuit in it I believe.
I added a Wazacraft Chorus to my effects loop and it cleaned up everything in there. WOW was I happy with that. Now I have a Boss Wazacraft Buffer in the front end of my amp, it did the same thing here. My tone just keeps getting better and better with these Wazacraft pedals.

It's so funny when Boss released them I stuck my nose up at them and thought Boss pedals are always very good, now they want to release pedals from the past and call them a new name and make you think they are high end? Well that kind of thinking kept me from trying them out and my head was up tc electronics ass so far I couldn't even consider them until I started to have issues with darkness in my tone from loss of signal.

Having an open mind to all things offered in our hobby is so much better then being closed minded. I'm still closed up about Line 6 and modeling amps but maybe i need to give them all another try. Hell I could be missing out on some fantastic tone. For now I'm loving my Wazacraft pedals.
Now I want to look into the Boss Wazacraft Delay, I hear nothing but praise for it.

As usual I'll snap a few pic's later today.

Seems like your quest for the ideal tone never ends.

I think Wazacraft is just Boss' strategic attempt to stay relevant; TC is probably its particular target. Do a lil improvement here and there, jack up the price and voila...you get a booteek competitor.

I'd invest in an EQ if I were you.

Waza craft have received nothing but love. There are some very hip/cool BD2 third party mods out there too. Underated pedal in a big way.

Boss pedals are generally excellent and very affordable, they seem to get a bad rap from people who don't own or use them.
I have a cs3, sd1, tr2, ph2, & dm3 & they do everything I need & have lasted forever.

it is my understanding that the Waza versions have the more popular mods
or some such
some have a switch with the mod version or the original

It may never end but I'm loving my tone right now. Every move I made over the last few months all worked out. The Waza stuff is completely fantastic.

I can't see how Boss Pedals would get a bad rap. They are the industry standard that all others should be judged by. If you haven't noticed, most other pedal companies clone them, mod them or try to copy them. That says a lot.

Yes they have and I add to that love. They are fantastic. I only own 2 right now but I'm gonna pick up the analog delay. The more I check it out, the more I want it.
I honestly don't need 10 different modes for delay, just a good quality analog delay or even Digital and I'm cool. Adding a 2nd Delay pedal to ones board is never a bad idea.

Correct. The Original tone and a modded version. There is a switch right in the middle. it's nice to have options but the original tones are fantastic.

I've been GASing hard for a VB-2W for a while now. Maybe this summer.
