Boutique and Back?

Re: Boutique and Back?

Let me point out that Duncan makes booteek pickups. I'd say that $300 for a set of EVH pickups is pretty booteek, price-wise.

If you prefer off the shelf pickups to booteek, that's cool. At the end of the day, our gear is just another set of tools. The craft is about the product, not the means.

I've tried a few local guys and some from the UK and IMO no one comes even close to SD. A bit harsh maybe but I'm sticking to it!

Oh I most certainly understand that Duncan makes those too. I guess I normally think of Duncan users as being the off the shelf people. I guess I was wondering how many people have flirt with those pickup makers who only cater to that crowd.

I also agree with your assessment of the product not the means but there are those who disagree with us. I've always said if it works for you, use it!
