Bridge Hot Stack on neck

Hi!
I have JB A2 parallel. I like this tone.
I have stk-s7 and it's too dull on neck.
I also don't like the wide spacing of the magnets, the outer strings are on the edge of the magnets.
I saw the JB often used with a bridge version Hot Stack (Dan Huff,.Brad Gillis)
I would also like to connect it in parallel, to get something between a strat and a humbucker, just like the JB2 parallel.
Does the Hot Stack have enough power to balance the volume?
 
The regular Hot Stack does, but none of the stacks would sound very good in parallel (to me, anyway).
 
parallel does sound good there. also, thats a sick guitar configuration. hss with mid boost and series/parallel switches.
