Bridge Humbucker for Tele Bridge Position Tone

I'm looking into possibilities of replacing the bridge position humbucker on one of my guitars. What fullsize humbucker sounds closest to a Tele bridge pickup? I used to have an OLP EBMM Axis copy. I replaced the stock bridge pickup with a DiMarzio Fred and it did sound like a good Tele bridge position pickup, so I was thinking of starting with that one. Any other thoughts?

Something PAF-ish would be my suggestion. A lot of people describe the tone of a Burst as "tele on steroids" so going down the road of Seth's or something similar would be where I started.

Coil splitting time. My PRS with Gibson Livebuckers split gets a spank and sparkle that reminds me of my tele quite nicely.

Unless you’re specifically looking for a hum cancelling option, I’d like to suggest humbucker-sized single coils as an alternative. I have a modified Phat Cat in the bridge of a partscaster, which I love. But there are other manufacturers who make humbucker-sized single coil pickups as well. Some of them are even specifically designed to sound like a Fender single coil, like the Fralin Twangmaster.

I hope that helps. :)

I have Phat Cat in an esquire style guitar. It's the neck version because I'm after brighter tone. That said Lollar has humbucker sized tele pickup set (Novel T).
