I just got a JV Strat and love it. But, I play with more gain than what that's probably intended for. I really like the tone and will leave the neck and middle alone. Any suggestions for a bridge pickup replacement? I hear the JB is good for that, being on the bright side, I think the 250k pots will balance it out fine. I haven't looked in the cavity yet, so I'm curious if it's even routed for a humbucker.
Also, how compatible are Fenders and Duncans concerning phase and magnet polarity? If I want to split the bridge HB and combine it with the middle SC in position 2, will I have a phase issue?
