Bridge Pickup for creamy overdrive

Anyone have any opinions on a bridge pickup for smooth creamy overdrive? I play a PRS singlecut through a Vox ac 15 using an OCD overdrive.

Hey mincer thanks for the advice. Thinking of ordering the Alnico Pro II set. Do you happen to know if there are any options to consider as far as getting them installed in a PrS size fit etc? This is my first time replacing pickups.

your options are spacing (i basically always get trem spaced bridge pups), covered or bobbin color

I use the standard spacing in my PRS and it works fine.

Either trembucker or standard spacing will be fine. I've used both on my PRS SE's.

I’d get a standard spaced Custom Custom.

Creamiest pickup I know of.

Great for Van Halen tones too.

I wouldn’t get the Trembucker version for a PRS.

Maybe a good idea for a Strat, but not a PRS.

Un-oriented Alnico 5 magnets in a set of Wolfetone Marshallhead MKII pickups are my go-to pups.

They should fit just fine. If you are ordering the bridge pickup, check out this guide, which talks about standard vs Trembucker spacing.
