Bridge Pickup recomentation please ?

Hello ,

it is a fender stratocaster... I am playing maiden metallica , dream theater... I have other dark guitars so i dont need another death metal guitar ... But i need from my fender to be versatile enough... In neck and middle i have the scn fender pups with dc resistance 6.5.

So do you have any recomandations for a big sound ? Not too gainy cause i have hi gain amps like evh 5153 and dual rectifier . I havent tried single coil size humbuckers from duncan. I have put dimarzio tone zone s and chopper and the doesnt dound like humbuckers. I dont know if sd do.

So you are free to suggest me either single coil size humb or real humbuckers but to combine well with scn pups i allready have... Thank you very much

If its a single coil you may want to look at the jb jr. If its a full size, I'd say the alternative 8. I've heard alot of good stuff about the full shred too but I haven't used one myself.

I have jb in one of my other guitars so I think I would be better to have an alternate sound in my fender . I ll check you previous suggestions but what about tb5 ? Do you believe it's a good choice to combine with single coils ?

I don't know about combining the TB-5 with single coils because I haven't tried, but I have one in the bridge of an LTD MH-100QMNT and I love it. I'm probably going to put one in another guitar as well.

I second the Super Distortion. Sounds great in my strat for all the bands you listed.

Yeah the super distortion is such a all rounder (jack of all trades) pickup.
