Bridge pickup to go with APH-1n?

I'm going to get a APH-1 for the neck of my Les Paul for that Slash neck solo tone. But I need help finding a bridge pickup that would go well with it. I'm looking for something with a nice crunchy sound that could do anything from rock to Iron Maiden style metal.

Would the APH bridge model do the job? 59? Pearly Gates? How would each of these do with the APH n? Any other recommendations? I'm pretty much a novice in this area!!

Duncan Custom. It'll do everything you described. It's a great pickup and perfect, IMO, for what you're describing needing. Lew
