Bridge pickup to pair with a Gold Coil Arcane2

Hello all.

I just took in a pretty cool Gibson 137 as a partial trade for my LP and it has a pretty interesting neck pickup that I’m digging. It’s an Arcane2 Gold Coil (the link is below) and it looks like the output is 6.3k. The original 498T is in the bridge and I’ve never been a big fan. I have an Antiquity humbucker that I can throw in the bridge position but I already have that option in another guitar so I’m wondering if something else (a little less PAF) would pair nicely with the Arcane2 and give me a fun unique bridge sound. All suggestions are welcomed.

I play rock, blues, country, folk etc. Nothing super heavy. Thanks!

I have Phat Cat bridge and Gold Foil neck in a guitar of mine. Nice combo. I'd say hb sized P-90 like P-94 or hb sized F'tron like Lollartron would be great in your 137.

For something that is not so PAFie I suggest a CC in the bridge. It still has higher output, but matches well with lower output neck pickups and can still sound a bit like a PAF with the gain lower and the guitar volume rolled of a bit. It still has a sweet sounding character due to the A2 magnet and doesn't suffer from being to strident in the highs or too sharp or tight in the lows. It's the best mid output HB Seymour Duncan makes, IMO.
