Bridge PU for my Epi LP

I currently have a 59' in the bridge of my LP, but it just isn't doing the job. Nice PAF...vintage rock tone, but just not what I'm after. I've had a JB but it wasn't my thing either.

I like the sound of my hotrails in my tele, but maybe a little more clairity. I don't want the same sound as my tele, but along those lines. Something powerful and in your face, but with good definition even under high gain situations.

So the 59' and JB are out...am I too picky here? My rig is below if you needed to know, anything about my set-up.

Kinda wierd how my tele is heavier than my paul...ha.

Thanks, Mike.

i think a custom might be great for you. aggressive mids, good bite and clarity and it will sound killer thru your rig for rock

Yep, sounds like a SH5 would treat you well. I actually run a Custom through one of my Epi's through a Single Recto. Great for what your desires are.

Thanks guys I was thinking about the custom, and this is that extra opinion I was looking for.

And i was just wondering...this isn't a big deal, but how does the custom clean up. I realize it's a ceramic, so I know its not going to be the sweetest thing ever, but useable?
